About the artist
Iām a self-taught sculptor who learned through trial & error, moving clay around until it stops looking wrong. I have consistently drawn on the natural world and its inhabitants for inspiration in my creative outlets.
My animal sculptures are made with a metal armature and a combination of polymer & air-dry clays, raw pigment, & acrylics, while the sculptural wall-flows are inspired by the movement & migration of animals, as well as natural and geographical formations. I intend to evoke an emotional response in each piece and hope to remind the viewer how much beauty there is in our world.
I live in Nashville, TN and am passionate about animal welfare, the environment, art, & politics.
